Saal-Digital Photo Book Review Part 1

Whilst on Facebook the other day, I noticed a post for a free £40 photo book in exchange for a review. I thought I’d give it ago as I needed something to show off the photos I’ve taken.

After filling in a short form, and a couple of emails later, I had a voucher code for the said photobook.

A bit about Saal-Digital

Saal-Digital offers a number of different printed products, including photographic prints, wall art, posters gifts and calendar. They also provide colour profiles, calibration assistance, and templates for Photoshop and InDesign.

Creating the photo book

To create the photo book, you can download the creator software.

The software is very straight forward to use, is well presented, and compatible with both Windows and Mac OS.

Once into the software, I was shown a screen showing all the products which are on offer from Saal-digital.

I like the fact that all the prices are visible on the screen so you know what you are getting.

There are plenty of templates to choose from, for my photo book, I used Block Art as can you can see below.

Once I had added the photos, which is a straight forward drag and drop, it was just a case of adding to cart and going through the check out. The price worked out to around £4.50 for delivery after the cost of the book had been taken care of with the voucher code.

I sent my order through at just after midnight on Saturday (20th August 16), and received a dispatch notification by Monday afternoon.

Part two is coming up once the book has arrived and I’ve had a chance to look it over.
